Want to make your event more sustainable but aren’t sure where to begin?
Through the support of our community members and the Lanark County Climate Grant, we’ve created a practical guide for organizers in Lanark County and Smiths Falls to help support your sustainability efforts.
Event Greening is about how we put on events with mindfulness and purpose. Community events bring us together, but they also generate significant waste and and can be heavy on resources. By rethinking the planning process, we can drastically reduce environmental impact without compromising the quality of the experience from the start.
A Framework for Every Organizer
We created this guide specifically for organizers in Lanark County and Smiths Falls to provide clear, easy-to-follow guidelines. Whether you’re just starting out or ready to go full net-zero, we’re here to help you make your event as sustainable as it is memorable.
