About the event

Climate Network Lanark invites you to Sounds of Change, our first annual fundraiser! Join us for an afternoon of fascinating climate science, live music, and local fare as we raise funds for our next chapter.

What can Earth’s climate history teach us about today’s crisis? Keynote speaker and retired geologist Pauline Witzke will explore historical climate shifts, the reality of rising greenhouse gases, and what we can expect in the future. Designed to be tangible and relatable, her presentation offers value to everyone, whether you are new to climate science or already well-versed.

Between live music sets by the wonderful talents of Doug Barr, Jeff Kohl, and The Rivermen, take a chance on our handmade quilt raffle, enjoy local food and drink and connect with the local climate action community.

Your ticket supports Climate Network Lanark’s programs and projects that advance climate solutions across Lanark County and Smiths Falls.
